220H/320H Top Dressers & Row Mulchers
The Earth & Turf Model 220H & 320H features a compact sized frame and axle assembly. Making it the perfect package for vineyards, orchards, and row crops with narrow rows.
Measurements vary per machine, but 220H/320H top dressers and row mulchers will fit over rows and other will fit between narrow rows. With light material sides for compost, it will carry an impressive capacity of 1 & 2 cubic yards of topdressing (maximum load weight 2,700 lbs.). You will be able to spend less time loading and more time spreading with one of our 220H/320H compost spreaders.
The 220H & 320H models features hydraulic controls. Hydraulic controls do require hydraulic ports to power the spreader belt and beater mechanisms, but with that option comes next level control. This allows the operator to control material flow from start to stop in the operator position without dismounting the tractor. There are some important considerations with the hydraulic models of these spreaders; even though they offer more options and control, the pulling vehicle must have hydraulic ports, ideally in the back of the machine.
These hydraulic spreaders are not always “better” than the ground drive counterparts but do offer a few other features. A comparison chart shows the differences below:

Standard Features
Hydraulic Spreading Controls
Hydraulic Spreading Controls allow the operator to control material flow from start to stop in the operator position without dismounting the tractor
Hydraulic oil is passed from the main pump (on the pulling vehicle) through the line on the spreader. While flowing, it can be routed through a valve that controls the main belt, allowing users to restrict flow for slower application, or open it up, for faster belt movement, and a heavier application of material.
Sturdy Extra Wide Axle
All of our 220H and 320H models come with a wide axle allowing for thin and extra wide tires to be used allowing it versatility for any environment.
The 320v has a Tandem Walking Axle which stabilizes the spreader in uneven terrain and bumpy conditions to keep the load secure. All bumps are absorbed by both wheels reducing the jarring bumps to a fraction. See this feature in action.
