The 65PT was designed and built with Market Gardeners in mind, but homeowners also find this compost spreader to be especially useful. Save your back from having to push a wheelbarrow full of compost down the rows of your garden or across your lawn. Instead, fill the 65PT and tow it, spreading an even amount of topdressing for soil health or leveling.
This top dress spreader is a ground drive spreader with an adjustable end-gate. Once the operator sets the gate for the depth of spread required it will spread at the same depth no matter the speed of travel. The 65PT is perfect for market gardeners using the 30-inch bed system. The spread width is 30-inches but the wheels are 36-inches apart. It can easily straddle the 30-inch beds with 6 inches of clearance. A full load spread at 3/8″ will cover 100 linear feet.
It is also the ideal homeowner spreader, low enough to load with a shovel or small loader, compact enough to store in the off-season, and small enough to pull behind an average lawn tractor or zero turn.Please refer to your machine's manual or dealer for towing capacities or recommendations.
Standard Features
Easy Engage
The MultiSpread 65PT top dress spreader has an easy engage/disengage lever. Simply pull the silver colored pin and rotate to either engage or disengage the belt.
Stainless Steel Box
The box of the MultiSpread 65PT is built from Stainless Steel for a long life. This spreader will clean up with a nice shine time and time again.
Adjustable Endgate
The 65PT has an adjustable gate for a variety of spreading materials. Spreading from a thin dusting to a heavy coating this machine is useful in many scenarios.
Wash-Out Ports
There are four wash-out ports on this top dress spreader (two in the front and two in the back) allowing you to keep the underside of the belt clean, which keeps it on track when used heavily.
Ground Drive System
One wheel ground drive system runs the conveyor belt off wheel speed, allowing consistent spread at various speeds, with thickness set from the metering gate dial.
Adjustable Belt
The belt is easily adjustable (for tightening) by loosening four nuts on the conveyor roller slide on each side and then adjusted by using a single bolt and nut system on each side.
Full Width Belt
A 30-inch wide PVC crescent belt delivers material evenly and smoothly to the metering gate for an even spread with sand, compost and more.
Belt Cleanoff
Each 65PT is equipped with a stiff bristle brush that will keep the belt from collecting material as it go around. This ensures material will spread well, even when sticky!
Optional Features
Light Material Sides
The LMS option increases the heaped capacity to 15 cu. ft. from 9 cu. ft. for compost, wood chips and more, but would not work well with sand as it would overload the unit.

Purchased a 65PT to top dress USGA sand on tee offs and putting green at our Driving Range. (Divot Repair). The 65PT made the work much easier. No more throwing sand by shovel. Allows you to choose the depth of the sand applied. Very happy with the purchase.
Suggestion to Mfg: Make the lever that engages/dis-engages drive mechanism longer so it is easier to grasp by hand. The lever is located behind the gear/chain guard and somewhat difficult to grasp. When the 65PT fully loaded, pressure is on the gears and lever is somewhat hard to engage/dis-engage.
